So I am not available for paid projects any more (except for video-editing for long-standing clients).<\/em><br \/>\n<em>BUT &#8230;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>I still have all my video shooting gear, and am more than happy to deploy it free of charge, and on a modest scale, for local projects that are of intrinsic value (social, personal, artistic &#8230;), and that appeal to me. So it&#8217;s always worth asking!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Meanwhile I&#8217;m leaving this site here as a calling card and, for me, an aide memoire!<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>jeremy &#8230;<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>has extensive experience of <span style=\"color: #993300;\">working with clients<\/span> to develop a specification designed to meet their aims and their budget<\/li>\n<li>has produced, directed, shot and edited <span style=\"color: #993300;\">videos<\/span> as a freelancer since retiring early from the BBC in 1999<\/li>\n<li>produced and directed over <span style=\"color: #993300;\">35 hours of broadcast TV as a BBC staff producer<\/span>, mainly documentaries commissioned by the Open University, and many <span style=\"color: #993300;\">video and audio<\/span> products for OU students<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em; line-height: 1.6875;\">has <\/span><span style=\"color: #993300;\">on-screen BBC credits<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em; line-height: 1.6875;\">\u00a0for &#8220;Cameras and Sound&#8221;, for writing, and for narrating his programmes in addition to &#8220;Produced and Directed&#8221; credits<\/span><\/li>\n<li>has created and managed <span style=\"color: #993300;\">web sites<\/span> since 1995, coding html directly, then using GoLive, Dreamweaver and now WordPress<\/li>\n<li>has been an enthusiastic <span style=\"color: #993300;\">stills photographer<\/span> since his teens (yes they had cameras then!), has exhibited his digital fine-art prints (see <a href=\"https:\/\/oliophoto.zenfolio.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">oliophoto<\/a>), and has shot most of the photographs shown on his websites<\/li>\n<li>has several decades&#8217; experience of <span style=\"color: #993300;\">acting, producing and directing for the stage,<\/span> working with amateur groups aiming at professional standards of preparation, presentation and performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>(Portrait photo by the late Bill Gordon)<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>jeremy cooper producer-director-consultant Having reached the grand old age of at least three-score years and fifteen, I have decided to retire from commercial video production.
