Here we go again, a fresh lockdown
\nno place to go, as pubs and cafes
\nshut their doors and stack the chairs.<\/p>\n
Feels like running to just stand still,
\nno end in sight, as infections rise
\nand death comes unawares.<\/p>\n
Shut within our homes, we wait
\nfor hopeful news, a vaccine tested
\nbut not yet on the street.<\/p>\n
And now in chill November’s air, no
\nbonfires blaze, just a few forlorn
\nfireworks Plot Night greet.<\/p>\n
To raise our spirits once again, fire
\nlights the sky, as sunset gives the
\nfolding hills a fiery glow.<\/p>\n
Nature again comes to our aid,
\nturning sorrow round, putting on
\nher far superior show.<\/p>\n
