A lovely Summer's night
Untold Stories No. 5 There are three stories in this painting, based on two real events, while the third story is imaginary. The first story is one I participated in here at home in our garden with my lovely Linda. The second story happened in the village of Watou when I was there to visit friends and also to visit the well known summer exhibition in that village near the French-Flemish border: his time I didn't participate, but the bath was outside in the garden, it was also a warm summer night, and the two friends who lived there were ready to take a bath outside in the garden. Just the same act as Linda and I did before. Each of these events happened on a warm and lovely summer night. I gave them my own interpretations. The third story is two persons in the bath nowadays, representing me with a friend; but this third story never happened and is imaginary.

Watercolour painting of an Hibiscus. Painted at White Oaks, Carmel Valley, California (USA).
Logo
I was asked to make a new logo for our Provincial LGBTI community organisation. My logo was accepted and I'm very very happy about that! So I'm showing you here my little moment of victory! (W-VL is for the Province of West Flanders; RBHS stands for Rainbow House, the name of the co-coordinating organisation.)
Lowlands
Lowland is land and water below the sea level. This landscape was formed by the sea in the Middle ages; the lower land stayed behind and got filled up with sea water. And from what is left from that period is nowadays named a "creek" or in Dutch a "Kreek". Quite a few of these "Kreken" are still seen nearby Bruges between the town of Damme (in Belgium) and the Dutch towns of Sluis and Aardenburg. Many hobby fishermen come here in their free time to catch fish. From all this I did make an acrylic-painting - impression of a cold winter day.
My cat
My cat "Zwiebel"is at rest. It inspired me to make a quick and a small acrylic painting of that moment.
Selling fish at the fishmarket
A person is selling fish at a very cold winter day. It inspired me . (Acrylic painting )
